    Me and some friends are going to New Orleans for a bachelor's party and we are going to stop in Alabama for a night. I've always wanted to see it! Is there anywhere that's not too far out of the way from LA that is a must visit town or location? We want the real Alabama experience. I'm very excited!

    Mobile is pretty close to NO and has a good raunchy bar scene. stop by The Bicycle Shop. my brother is a bartender there. I took my Murcielago down there one year and you would have thought the millenium falcon had pulled up!

    Just to follow up-

    We wound up driving all the way to Tuscaloosa from Pittsburgh, and let me tell you we were glad we did! I can confirm that Alabama knows how to party. We went to this bar that was PACKED on a Wednesday night and had a grand old time. Then the next day we went out to Dreamland Bar-B-Que for lunch. I knew about it since childhood when I heard Mojo Nixon sing about it in one if his songs. It was pure chance it happened. The food was fantastic.
