the coolest car commercial ever

Way cool. Reminds me of myself when I first saw a 550. Brand new back in 1997, solid black.... Ohhh that was my dream car. And it became reality.

Very cool commercial! Let's hope youngsters today get the same itch we did for cars, then work and sacrifice and innovate to make it a reality - the world will truly be a better place with all that passion & determination running around...T

 

For me, it was seeing the first article on the new 308 GTB in "Road & Track", tested in Europe in 1975. Up until then I had been more interested in Ferrari's racing teams, but when I saw the 308, I said "someday I'm going to own one of those".

Sometime in 1978 I visited Grand Prix SSR in Setauket, NY, and asked to sit in a 308. It was another 26 years before I finally decided to fulfill my dream and buy the 308's younger sibling.....

 

I like it. I used to make 911s with modeling clay when I was a kid.
