Hotel Recommendation in Nashville

Hi!

There are lots of good hotels in Nashville. I usually stay at the Sheraton downtown, however, there is a great hotel called the Union Hotel which is the old rail station towards the west end; great place. There is also The Hermitage; great and expensive.

The Omni is brand new and downtown. It's connected to the Country Hall of Fame building and across the streets from the Bridgestone arena and Convention center if you have plans to be there.

The Sheraton and Hilton are both close and nice. Cheaper options include the Courtyard Marriott and Hampton Inn. Whatever you do - don't stay at the Opry (it's a madhouse sometimes).

The Gaylord IS the middle of it all. They offer free shuttles to and from all the hot spots in town as well.

Hermitage is fantastic.

 

The Hutton is a great smaller modern boutique hotel near everything. Covered valet parking and excellent service. They know your name from arrival to departure. The Hermitage is a very nice more classic luxury hotel.

The Renassiance is in a good location too.

 

I put some clients up at the OMNI during CMA fest, they absolutely raved about it though I did not visit... Location definately cannot be beat though.

 

Reawakening this thread. Any feedback on Kimpton Aertson or Thompson?

 

The Thompson is an excellent choice. It is located in an area called "The Gulch" with many great restaurants within walking distance. They have a nice rooftop bar with great views. They let me park my FCar in front of the hotel, and then in the underground lot overnight. Great place.
