I haven't seen or heard any mention of T. Rutlands for many months now. In fact, I'm not even sure where they are. A couple of Saturdays ago, I happened to be in Gwinnett County with the Ferrari, so I tried to locate the Buford address I had seen, realizing that on Saturday there probably wouldn't be anyone around. I got there, only to find absolutely no sign that the suite was even occupied. Did they change their mind and decide to stay in Tucker after all? Their website is currently "under construction" and was no help. And I know that Ted was having health issues. Does anyone have any word?
T. Rutlands is in Tucker. They also opened up a new store in Cali. T is all over eBay if you're looking for a part
He is feeling a little better. I spoke with him in Monterey for a moment. He is taking things day by day. Last year he showed me photos of his new place and they did move. Mitch will see this and fill in the rest soon I am sure.
I think Ted is "retiring" and Mark Sandersen is going to take over day to day... but not sure when that all is going to happen. I think Ted will still be hands on, no matter what ... hard to keep him down!
I'm sorry we missed you! We're definitely here and in business! Please let me know when you're heading this way next time. We moved from Tucker to Buford last year and the new location while a big improvement was a lot of work to get settled in. I apologize for the lack of signage. We've been so focused on the warehouse operation that signage for the door and lobby have taken a back seat. Your post has definitely raised it's importance level though. You'll be seeing more of us soon. We're working on a new website that will be up soon. This site will actually work, be much more user friendly with parts easier to find and will be a good source for other information as well. We're also developing new magazine ads to be out before the year's end. Hopefully all this will mean we're easier to find and to do business with in the future!
Mark, Ted's annual "open house" was always one of the big annual social events on the local Ferrari calendar. You ought to hold one of these just to get people acquainted with your new location. Just be sure to avoid other events; there is a lot going on here from about 9/19 thru 11/7.
Glad you guys are doing well. A second or third vote here for the open house. Ted's a pretty good BBQ guy as well. Where in Buford BTW? Drew Altemara
It's on the top of the list once I figure out what I am suppose to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
4295 Hamilton Mill Rd, Suite 300. It's just west of the I-985 overpass; take I-985 exit 4 to get there.
Interesting... I sent an email to them and had it kicked back, and so I contacted David in Monterey with no problem. Not all that clear to me what's up.
We're working towards an October date for the open house but haven't nailed it down yet. We'll definitely have one as it's long overdue! I'm not sure why an email would get bounced back. If you would, please let me know the address you wrote to? Relocating has been a huge process and has proven more difficult than expected. However, the new shop is much larger, brighter, more organized and very comfortable to be in. Hopefully you'll agree after having a chance to look around. Also, I'm the new GM here so if any of you have problems or issues with us, please let me know and I'll see they get handled. Thanks! Mark
Well, you're going to want to avoid the first weekend (Petit Le Mans), the third weekend (Euro Auto Festival in SC) and the fourth weekend (U.S. Grand Prix in TX, plus Citta Scenica in Chattanooga). If you decide on the second weekend, I'm probably going to be away, but I guess that's my problem. Of course, there's always the fifth weekend, which happens to be Halloween!
Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in getting back to you guys. Like Mark said, we are shooting for something in October. Ted is feeling a lot better, in fact here is here at the office right now. We have been so busy that I have not had much time to get on here or FB. Work is very busy, thank you all for chiming in here. I'll of course let you all know when the next party is. We REALLY appreciate everyone's business! Please come by and visit us and see the new place in Buford, its AWESOME. The Wall of Ferrari is not to be missed. Call me or email me anytime!
I found it. That thread is in the Boxer/TR Section. How long until your website is back up? It's the European TR guys...looking for you
The new website looks great. Not complete, but looking fantastic and functional. What date will the open house be?
Hey John!! Great to see you yesterday sir! Always a pleasure. Thanks for the kind words on the website, its almost done. At this point we are "trying" to get an event planned for late October or November. It all depends on how Ted is feeling. He was in the office several times this week and its great having him here.
