Anyone else go to this? This section doesn't get too much traffic, but I started a similar thread in the motorcycle section. I think it was the 11th annual event, but my first with hopefully many more to come.

My favorite photo is the super rare Britten V1000 doing a wheelie on the back straight: https://www.flickr.com/photos/havblu/21916419458/in/album-72157659677750666/

800+ additional photos I took are here:

I did not go to the festival, but last year I visited the museum. I'm not into motorcycles, and even I enjoyed it. Highly recommended to anyone in the area if they have not seen it.

I'm not much into bikes, but I enjoyed it immensely, especially the very old ones and the weird ones.

Don't forget that they also own the world's largest collection of Lotus race cars, though it's biased towards the early cars and the late cars; I believe that the last time I was there, they were lacking a 25/33, a 49 and a 72. My favorite was the 1969 type 64 IndyCar that Mario Andretti did not race after crashing its mate in practice.

They also have a neat display of board-track racing and a display devoted to John Surtees, which includes one of his 1964 championship-winning Ferrari 158s.
