    there was a great documentary on last week that started from the 60's and went up to around the time when Senna was killed.. Really neat old footage of Lauda, Jackie Ickx, Emmo, mario, James Hunt, Surtees etc.. safety was off the charts with multiple guys being killed every year..

    one neat quite that Mr. Ferrari said during the aerodynamic era was

    " aerodynamics are for teams that cant build powerful engines "

    Colin Chapman said this "

    " at Lotus, we dont add power, we add lightness "..

    neat to hear the differences in engineering ideas.

    Now, its like a spec series...

    Its called "1" - very good documentary... came out about the same time as Senna... much better if you ask me.
