Sad news at Ferrari of Atlanta

    On Christmas morning we lost a friend to the Ferrari community and a valued member of the Ferrari of Atlanta family when Ken Erwin passed away suddenly of an apparent heart attack.
    Ken had been a member of our team since 1989 and as all who knew him will attest was a wealth of knowledge about all things Ferrari.
    He is survived by his bride, Nathalie.
    There is no word as of yet about funeral arrangements.
    Please keep Nathalie in your prayers as she gets through this very difficult time.

    Shocked to hear this. Only met him a couple of times, but he was always exceptionally nice. The FoA family is in my prayers.

    I have know Ken for a long time since I started with F cars. Sorry to hear he has passed and my condolences to his wife and family. I always enjoyed my visits to FOA and my conversations with him.

    As a long time employee of FoA and a close friend of Kens, thank you for the kind words.
    It has been a shock and very hard, seeing an empty space in the parts department where he should be is tough.

    Now here is why I post. If you have or feel anything abnormal, please have it checked. It has become clear that lower back pain can be an indicator of a major cardiac event.
    PLEASE do not ignore them.

    Wade you are right. It is better to error on getting it checked. I am sure it is still a little strange around there. It is one of those things that happen that just doesn't make sense.
