As usual during my extended holiday break, I spent over a week visiting my dad in south Florida, and that included my usual day trip to see the "car sights" of Fort Lauderdale.

First stop was Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale. Among the cars was a low-mileage '89 328 for which the asking price was in six digits! (Makes me wonder how much my high-mileage '86 is worth now.) And note the two Enzos sitting in the shop area!

The pre-owned room had a couple of interesting Porsches, and more pre-owned cars were on the front grass, right next to the sidewalk. Imagining strolling up US-1 and seeing this display of exotica right off the walk!

Then it was down to the Motorcar Gallery just north of downtown, where I had a brief chat with our old friend Steve Ahlgrim. There wasn't time to see what was in their storage buildings, so I settled on what was in the showroom. This included a few interesting Lancias and Maseratis along with the inevitable Rolls-Royces, Bentleys and an Excalibur. It was neat seeing a bugeye Sprite parked adjacent to the much bigger British cars. Unfortunately the bright sunlight coming in the many windows made photography a bit difficult.

What was the price of the 930? Looks like my old one.
