Although this isn't a Ferrari thing, we are hosting a small event in Milton to showcase the new Maserati Levante. The Ferrari community is always invited to any event we have so if you're scratching your head for something fun to do, come join us tomorrow night from 6pm until 8pm. It's a school night so we are keeping the mayhem to a minimum.
Feel free to RSVP back to me through this thread and I will get you on the list. Both the car and the setting are spectacular.

Maserati of Atlanta and Premier Atlanta Real Estate invite you and a guest to be among the very first to meet Levante—the stunning new chapter in Maserati’s more than 100-year history. Levante takes you to the outer reaches of luxury with the extreme capability of a performance SUV and uncommon elegance that you’ll only ever discover in an automobile bearing the Trident.

    Join us Wednesday, May 11, 2016, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

    Providence Estate
1865 Bethany Way, Alpharetta, GA 30004

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
A tour of this beautiful estate will be provided upon request.

A nice event at a spectacular estate. If the Cayenne is any indication, the Levante will probably become the best-selling Maserati ever. It was presented to us as the "fastest, best-accelerating, best-braking" SUV on the market.

I was there. In fact you can barely see me on the fourth picture, taking a photo of the front trident. Overall I like the car.

The front trident is not sculpted like on prior models. Instead it is on a flat surface. I was told it is because it houses the proximity sensor. To me that trident looks a bit odd and somewhat cheap.

I can see someday having a Levante in the garage.

Car looks nice, house looks amazing! Does the Levante have a pop up third row? How much luggage room behind the rear seats?

Yes, that is Dick P. Myrna was involved in the ceremony that "undressed" the Levante :)

It was a fun event and the house was very impressive.

Would be interested in your comments of the Levante once you see it in person.

"how deep are they reaching into the Jeep platform ?"

Great and very logical question. There is zero Jeep DNA in the platform itself. The platform is Ghibli derived. The motor is Ferrari and most of the systems are Maserati. I was told the suspension height adjust is Jeep derived but is engineered by Maserati for this car. I did notice some FCA switch gear in the car but very little.
The leather and interior layout are all Italian, as it should be.
