    Does Georgia have 3rd party DMV services that can do paperwork for you? A friend of mine has been trying to get a duplicate title from Georgia for about 6 months. Apparently he mailed in the DMV paperwork in but has not heard back if there were problems or what the holdup is. He now lives in Europe but has an office in Michigan and the car is stored with me in Arizona. My motivation is he needs a title to sell the car and then I get it out of my driveway! Any recommendations for services in Georgia? Thanks in advance!

    how old a car ?

    it shouldnt take that long. i usually get my title back in a week after applying

    title work is by county here

    It's a 1965 that he titled about 10 years ago in Jackson County. I'll try to contact Jackson County on his behalf and see what comes of it.

    depending on ... they may or may not issue another title...

    they ve been ball busters on pre 1985 cars = no titles
