Has anyone in the US built an Ultima Evo with the 1020 bhp supercharged engine?

It is an awesome and pretty scary car with that kinda power.
I was thinking about ordering that for trackdays and my business partner commented :"Why? You wanna die?" LOL :p

ive seen one at a car show. absolutely insane.

I would much prefer the spider open top version with a small block n/a engine. around 350 hp would be perfect.

kit cars with 1000 hp just don't make sense to me. hennesy venom with same 350 hp would be much better too

I have an Ultima GTR with about 600 HP. It is stupid fast and reliable. It has 335 section width tires and it spins them easily. Sub 3 second 0-60 times repeatedly.

My advice is to get a realistic motor that is bullet proof and spend the "extra" cash on stuff that will actually make the car faster: double adjustable shocks, custom ratios for all of the gears in the transaxle, wider front wheels and tires that will kill the built in understeer of the stock 245s (295s on mine mandated dry sump).

All that power sounds impressive but it will make the car complex and unreliable and no faster because there isn't enough tire or more likely.... metal in your shorts to use it.

The car is fast. Keep it simple and it will be fun.

it is a great time to be a car enthusiast. 600hp is "reliable" 1020HP is what is considered pushing it. :)

Glorious. I remember when my 385hp zr1 was a "beast". Now I probably can get a minivan with that power.

Would be great praxtice/track day car for me

I'd prob get the 1000 hp version so I can scare myself a little. As AJ Foyt said
"If you don't scare yourself in a race car you're not going fast enough."

Sounds scary and it's gonna be a pain to take it to the tracks unless you are gonna be using it for Drags.

Like some of the guys mentioned , 600bhp is good enough for that kind of chassis and would be reliable .

    I might be wrong .

the new Ultima Chassis's can handle 1000 HP but most owners arn't skilled enough to use 1000hp, I'm with KWright 600HP that works is a much better idea.
