Man, my Buckeyes may be in the easiest region (WEST) from the top down, but the 5-8 seeds are not easy for us being a 2 seed. Thoughts? MB
Midwest is toughest, South the next most difficult. Kansas will have its hands full with Miami, assuming both make it to the Elite 8. Not impressed with Gonzaga, but if they are ever going to make the Final Four, this is the year. Mizzou is a #9 seed in the Midwest and play Colorado St. in the first game, then Louisville in the second round (assuming they win against the Rams). If Mizzou can play their fast game and not make stupid errors as they are prone to do, they will make it tough for Colorado St. Against the Cardinals obviously it would have to be a perfect game in order to win. Louisville beat them badly early in the season on a neutral court. Missouri can beat almost anyone when they are on, and lose to anyone when they are not. We will see what team shows up Thursday.
If you would like to play in the "official" F-chat bracket tourney, send me your email address and I will add you into our group. Rob has graciously offered a 1 year Rossa or 5 year silver subscription to the winner!
I have Louisville winning it all in my bracket at work. My Buckeyes I have losing to Arizona in the sweet 16 but they may lose to ND in the second game. On the other hand they may end up in the final 4...will be a fun tourney to watch. Watching the first four games right now... MB
Games start tomorrow - get your e-mail addresses to me ASAP to get in! Remember, the winner gets either a one year rossa or 5 year silver subscription! Thanks again Rob!
In the past we have always started a 'league' series in a thread by itself, sorry I didn't see this one in time. Also, I have always had Yahoo! leagues and I post the info to join in the thread so folks can join at-will, no middleman. (nascar, salary cap football)
Nope. Refs gave the ball to Miami after Kadji clearly hit it out of bounds. Crappy refs strike again today late in the game.
True, but that was ridiculous how the baseline ref asked for help on determining possession and the ref far away gives it to Miami (he's at least 25 ft away) without even coming over to discuss it. One of the many reasons I don't follow college ball that much. Quality of the game isn't up there with NBA standards and neither are the refs (NBA would be great if there weren't so many thugs/drama queens). Oh well.
Not a Kansas fan but they had one of the best second halfs in memory to beat NC. Not seeing anybody that can keep up with Lville. They as faster to the ball and play defense like nobody else. I hate em but I have to believe my own eyes. My heart says Indiana but my head says Lville.
I would have to agree with you. I am biased though since I went to UofA. In addition, the Cats killed Miami early in the season and beat Florida shortly after (hellofa game).
We shall see how it goes between the Buckeyes and Wildcats. It should be a good game. East coast vs West coast. MB
Looks like Miami brought our b game tonight. I guessed we might not fare too well after el heat lost last night. I think our team identifies with the ho.egos. pros very closely. Congrats to Marquette! This was by far the best basketball season we have ever had at Miami. Go canes! BT
