The Braves look like they are emulating the Marlins with their recent fire sale - now trading away the best closer in baseball? I think the local fans will have to say "wait until next year" before the season even starts!
My MLB pitch-by-pitch postings are on another forum, but certainly THANK GOD FOR BASEBALL SEASON!! SD @ LAD, NYM @ WAS, or PIT @ CIN all at 4:00pm. What an embarrassment of riches. The NL West should be outstanding this year as long as Kershaw implodes in October I'm wearing my Cardinal jersey today and (obviously) watched the game last night. Last year, I watched or listened to about 160 of the 162 Cardinal games, and hope to do it again this year. I'm also headed to StL to participate in the 2015 Busch Stadium Fantasy Camp in June.

Stupid Time Warner won't make a deal to broadcast the Dodgers in the LA market on systems other than their own. I hope they are losing millions in lost revenue. It's amazing to me that MLB can let one of the largest markets in the US not have local broadcasting to the public.

Consider it a rebuilding year? (er.... or just a continued "building year"?) But seriously, none of it really matters until the All Star break, as long as they're within spitting distance of .500 at the break. The road to October is littered with the corpses of teams that collapsed after springtime rushes.
