For anyone who still thinks that Dallas is not America's team, then chew on this:

Las Vegas sportsbooks pause betting on Dallas Cowboys over Ezekiel Elliott suspension

Apparently, you are not allowed to bet on Dallas unless they have their full squad (all their starters) - wtf - has that happened to any other team?

Maybe their expecting an appeal?!? Can't recall having heard of a betting pause before.

-Sigh-

Oh well we need one more good draft before we go on our run anyway. 4-12 looks to be the order of the day what with the suspensions to the D line, the rookie secondary and now the lost of Zeke for nearly half the season. Oh yeah, **** YOU Roger Goddell.

Keep the faith, Mark! It was already going to be a tougher year due to the improvements of the other NFC East teams & tougher schedule. Oh yeah, **** YOU, Roger Good-for-nothing!

Zeke is suspended for six games? No charges were filed against him. No arrest. I don't get it. Shades of deflategate by the NFL.

IS THE FIX IN FOR THE GIANTS?

How is being accused of something a crime in America? If he did something, prove it. Otherwise, let the fans see the best compete.

If you think l am a toadie for the Boys, my dream is to have a battle in the NFC East which goes down to the last game to see which team makes it to the playoffs.

Apparently JJ's induction into the HOF did not buy him much re Zeke!

^ I'm biased, but I agree. At a minimum, 6 games is too much. It's as if the NFL is determined to be seen as "too tough" since their dreadful response in the Ray Rice incident. On the other hand, Elliott should not have put himself in several of these situations.

The Commish can increase or decrease the number of games at his discretion. Zeke has three business days to appeal.

Rich Eisen: that sound you hear up the California coast is Jerry Jones' head exploding.

And that exploding is due to the botox/plastic surgery, not the Zeke suspension...

Rich Eisen picks the Boys first six games assuming no Zeke:

Gmen win...and win division now
@Den loses
@ Cards win
Rams lose
Packers win
@San Fran loses

So Boys are 3-3 after first six games. Game seven they have a bye. So we won't see Zeke until the eigth game.

Let's hope so.

It's unfortunate we don't have a plan B as the case with deflate-gate. The Patriots never

skipped a beat....even when Gronk was out too. I am not a fan of the Patriots but have alot

of respect for Kraft and the Patriot organizaition....they think strategically and always have a

plan b.

Darren McFadden isn't exactly chopped liver behind that line.

I know. Let's hope he steps up to the plate. That's all I have been eating with this team for

the past 21 years....chopped liver.

Hi Joe...I agree with Mark. I think despite what JJ was saying publicly, they expected some sort of hiatus for Zeke.

Cowboys Mobile: Helman: For Better Or Worse, Cowboys Prepared Themselves For This Situation
http://yi.nzc.am/crpSdg

Alfred Morris and McFadden are both 1,000 yard rushers. Ronnie Hillman and the youngster Rod Smith are also in the mix. Biggest need may be a pass catching RB, something they haven't really had since Lance Dunbar was healthy.

thanks for the link Tom. I'm not gonna get my hopes up till the very end. I have been a

Cowboys fan since the 70's and still to this day....I even have a pic of me wearing all 5 rings

and behind all 5 Lombardi trophies in the same pic.
