Does anyone use them? I need to balance the V12 throttle bodies, I am either going to build an old school manometer or buy a digital one.

I like to use the good old mercury sticks to sync the throttle bodies, no batteries required!

Somewhere in the past someone posted a laptop oriented assembly to do this.
Being an old motorbike guy this is what I use. It works great on the 308.
I tried to download a video, not that it would have changed anything, but I couldn't figure it out.
This uses mercury which I do understand is getting hard to find. I have a friend that works in a lab who helps with it.

    Cheers,
    Tom

Cool, a tool that costs $1000 with all of the problems of a computer that replaces a simple easy to use tool that never crashes or breaks that cost me $30.

Two stroke oil would eventually burn away without leaving any residue.

UK company makes these. Uses polished stainless rods in glass tubes. I have used it for Ferrari and Bikes and back to back with a mercury manometer and it is acurate. Great thing is you simply lay them down in your toolbox and store them without loosing any fluids. Impossible to ingest into the engine.
