iPhone Experts - How do I save a log of my text messages on to my PC?

Is there anyway to dig into the backup files on my PC and convert them into a Word file?

    Thx.

Not sure about pc but I have a program on Mac that can pull the texts from the phone, I'm sure there is one out there that could do it.

Did you have to pay for it or was it free?

I use decipher text message to back up my iphone sms to my computer. it's like $8 or something. Really easy to use. My wife also uses it at work at her law firm to document and save her work texts. Site is: http://decipher-media.com/iphone-tools/ Best of luck!

Pull up texts that you want to save.
    Click edit ( upper right)
Check the texts you want to save
    Hit Forward
Enter your own email address in the address bar at the top and hit send- will go to your Inbox.
I think you can then cut and paste into a Word format

This is what I do, but the sole issue is that it doesnt put the persons name, just the text...
    i.e.:

What a diet! Coop tonight? Wasn't planning on it..

was three text, 2 from me, and one from a a friend...and this is how it shows up via email.
