FChatting with Tapatalk?

Actually, I'd like to find a way to get the old version of TapaTalk onto my my new-to-me original iPhone. The latest version of the iOS I can run is 4.2.1, so I need a version of TapaTalk that's compatible with that. Any suggestions?

You can choose to upload images directly to fchat as an attachment rather than a link. Just press the three dots (...) when typing a reply to make the change. This is from memory so i may not be exactly right. FWIW I have been using tapatalk a lot less lately because the new version has slowed things down a ton.

Tapatalk doesn't load anything - I can't enter the forums. Any idea? Is it a tapatalk problem often?

It just says "loading" for an endless time...

 

It's been seriously buggy with Fchat lately. I've had to delete my account and reload it multiple times to get it to load.

Well, I can only view pictures at Tapatalk, because of a mysterious iPhone issue...

But now TT seems to work.

I have had constant problems with the basic version of Tapatalk. Nothing would load both on here and on SwedeSpeed. I then remembered I forked out $4 for the Pro version awhile back, so just re-downloaded it from the cloud. Pro version works so much better.

To view posts on basic Tapatalk I had to uninstall and reinstall. The first session worked fine, then the second session had the same issue.

 

It's been fine until the iOS7 update, locks me out & can't get it work. Oh well, I'll wait until the patch is ready.

 

On User end - I updated my iPhone with latest Tapatalk um, update.

Now I get an error that Fchat has disabled the image upload feature.

Looks like images uploaded to tapatalk aren't viewable in safari.

 

Dave, tested with ipad2 on IO6.x and Safari - works fine. Same with Safari 7.0 on Mac 10.9.

Clicking on the link just opens up a new tab/window and viewable there.

 

its only a link for me - viewing with firefox on a PC

 

What he's saying is that the tapatalk uploaded images aren't actually on the Fchat server, so they show as links rather than pictures. I see the same.

 

This wouldn't be such a big problem if I could upload more than one picture at a time using safari on my phone. I don't really feel all that safe uploading pictures directly to tapatalk. Who knows how long they'll be around or who has access to what is uploaded.

 

You can't do polls on tapatalk...

I've noticed this issue as well....on the iPhones, on Tapatalk images are uploaded and fine, then on the computer no bueno
