Can someone help out here? A friend bought an iPhone 5 (iOS 7). problem is she want delivery reports on each text message sent. She did not get that so she ask me as a Samsung user what to do. I have no ****ing idea I googled it and from what I see, delivery reports are not even available in iOS 7 text (SMS) messages. Only in imessage. Am I completely wrong? Is it possible to get an app that can fix the problem? If so, where and ehich one?? Thanks in advance.
What do you mean by delivery reports? If she wants to see time delivered, just slide the screen to the right.
I mean a text message being sent automatically back to the sender. Like "This message was delivered to XXX at 3:20pm" Something along those lines.
On my i5 when I open the message app I see the list of messages with the "date sent" highlighted in blue to the right side, above the beginning of the message. If I tap the message and open it, it shows the message and the date and time I sent it above the message. I can not slide the screen to the left or right for additional options.
Sorry, you're doing something wrong then! Hold your thumb on the screen and slide it slightly left - Delivery time then shows on the right. Furthermore, at least if sending to another iPhone, not only does delivery time show up, but the time the message was read too....... No denying that you didn't see it! Cheers, Ian
If she is meaning to say "read receipts" (confirmation that a message was read)... that only works if the recipients has their read receipts turned on. For seeing time stamps of each messing being delivered... as others have said... touch the area where the messages are and slide to the left.
Checked again. I only have very small print above the message I sent giving the date and time it was sent. One message states in the same small print below the message , delivered. I tried and tried to slide the screen but I don't see that option. Hmmm.
