    any recommendations?
i am trying to pull in a digital tv signal from 5 or 6 stations, all are 25-30 miles away.
i live in micihgan (the area is very flat).
is there a benefit to an omnidirectional antenna?
all the broadcast towers are clustered within a 25 degree angle.
the mount will be 12-14 feet above ground level.
is there substantial signal loss when the antenna is mounted inside an attic?

I've had Mohu recommended to me by someone in the industry (who works for a competitor). I had excellent results and keep one around for when sat goes down (like today). YMMV as the results are highly location-specific. Worth a shot.

have you used this in an attic?
i understand roof shingles can adversely attenuate the signal.
