Just got this, more of a computer/hot spot that makes calls than a phone. Highly recommended.
I've been waiting for months! May I ask who is your carrier? Never mind... I see it's exclusive to Verizon
Really wanted a 1520 and have been told that if I get the unlocked international version that it will work on any 4G LTE network. But the icon is so similar with the exception of battery and screen size that it is a great option. Well worth the cash.
This has become an even better phone with the addition of Windows phone 8.1. It was an easy download that will likely be widely available in June. Really great phone and operating system.
I'm told that the Glance Screen isn't available due to hardware restrictions. That's too bad since it's a really nice feature and a battery saver as well. http://winsupersite.com/windows-phone/nokia-lumia-black-glance-20 Anyway, Verizon has the Icon discounted right now so I'll check it out this weekend. . Picked up my new Icon yesterday and it was intuitive right out of the box... plus it's a thousand times better than my Moto Droid RAZR (which suffered three OS upgrades). Only one [big] problem so far, FerrariChat comes in with an excessive range of font sizes, doesn't matter if viewed as mobile or desktop. I'd rather not use tapatalk so is there a fix otherwise? . FChat doesn't scale like other forums. I avoid using it on a phone for that reason. It has a similar display on other phones. Also thought about the 1520 but around here the network is not an option. I agree about the OS ease of use. 8.1 is off the chart great and fast.
Make sure to look for the small book symbol in the address bar. It will extract the real content from the page your on and put it a very readable font along with relevant photos. Also look for the small pages symbol in the left lower screen. This allows navigation between different open screens. Your book marks share the organization that you have on your Windows 8 computer.
