We purchased a house and it came with these Bang & Olufsen speakers. I'd like to use them but they have this different connector than I've ever seen. I went to Radio Shack and Best Buy and neither store had anything to allow me to connect them to my receiver. I'm thinking it is some kind of proprietary connector but then I see some stuff online that they may be vintage so that makes it more interesting.

Very interesting. Do you have more pictures of that connector and of the speakers themselves? Also what model speaker are they

This might work. I'm just scared to buy things on Ebay, plus I hate paying shipping. I may have to do it. I wish I could just pick them up in a Radio Shack etc. Too bad the B&O store in my town went out of business.
