    Has anybody else noticed that the latest new password policies on some websites that apply length and complexity criteria to all passwords used on the computer including ones entered into websites through the browser.

    On two different websites with different browsers, it now truncates letters past a certain point and thus will not let one use passwords past a certain length.

    I've not run into this. Not even sure I understand what's happening. Are you saying that a website is enforcing password lengths on your PC, or vice versa? Without giving away anything you dont want to disclose, can you tell us which site you think is imposing the criteria thats incompatible with others?

    Do you have a third party security software running?
