    Judging by the amount of people who post links to pics as opposed to the pictures being embedded....I dont think im the only one who has this problem. Im sure its a simple fix but it drives me nuts.

    I have a Mac and use Photobucket for my photo storage. I have tried pasting the link via all three of the options. None will embed, they just show up as links. Thats all fine and good but I would prefer to have the picture be readily vise able in the thread and not a link.

    Help me Obiwan!

    You have to upload each image as oppose to embed.

    Just pretend it's the early 2000s and embedding photos hasn't been invented yet.

    Thank you.....I guess there is a limit on photos you can upload. But its a start.

    There is also is limit to the size of pics. I bytes. .

    No limit if you subscribe, only if you don't. It's not that hard to do.

    ...plus links to embedded pictures can eventually become invalid. They are outside the control of this site. And in the future posts will become useless.

    By only allowing uploaded pictures, you can guarantee that threads with pictures will be intact for years to come.

    I wish other forums did it this way. I often google something that finds a forum post that contains a broken link to a picture critical to the conversation.

    Most forums use off server (photobucket, smugmug etc) Thus, i was always trying to upload the traditional way. If i was subscribed, It wouldnt have made a difference. I would have still been trying to upload my old way. Another reason to subscribe!

    embedding photos is the stupidest thing forums ever allowed or did, can't help if we're smarter than all the rest.

    users can't handle a higher limit, they will be uploading 2+ MB photos for no reason, just wasting resources and bandwidth. 800 is perfect size image for viewing inline web/mobile. If you want higher resolution for artsy photos etc you can post link to offsite.

    FerrariChat has been here since 2000 helping users from themselves. :D
