    That's pricey for just an adaptor. For a few $$ more, you could get the older version of the Apple TV device and wirelessly AirPlay content to it from the Amazon Prime app. Not limited to length of HDMI cord. Then you would also have the other Apple TV features and apps. You'd still have to use the phone for Amazon because their app isn't directly supported by Apple TV though.

    3rd gen Apple TV runs $69.
