I get email spam, like most people. Usually I have been able to create a filter that recognizes the domain and blocks further messages.

Recently I've been getting messages from:

[email protected] NOTE The senders name always appears blank in the Inbox.

They're for random stuff like: pesky skin-tag removal, free gutter-cover estimates and CBD gummies for free.

My attempts to filter them always fail. When I create the filter, (contains: helpdeath.com) somehow a trailing digit appears such as: (helpdeath.com 2) that causes it not to be a match.

It appears that there must be something hidden that is foiling my efforts.

    Any ideas?

Getting a location and a couple of gallons of gas would be my first choice.

Between the hackers, spammers and robocallers all I can say is if I am ever diagnosed with a terminal illness there are some people who will need a new solar system to live in.

Look at the email header info, you'll probably see that the "sender" is spoofed. From the header, grab the IP address and do a tracert, and/or whois check. Then filter at your ISP level so that it never hits your inbox/es.
