Hey up north, anyone use the auto interior upholsters, The Tin Lizzy Affair over off of TI Blvd? I shipping up the instrument pod cover off of my 430 that has some bubbles.
They were able to find the exact match (contrasting) thread after looking at every blue thread sample ever made :).

I've heard they are good. Use to be the inexpensive secret, now not so inexpensive. Speak with Norwoods, they are using someone else now, I'm getting new interior 328.

I've seen their work on a few different Ferraris, you won't be disappointed.

I've heard good things about them and why I was going to use them. Should be a simple process as the cover is not that large or complex. The hardest part it seems was matching the thread and they sent me some samples and one of them was a perfect match for 9 year old variety thread.

I'll give norwoods a call just to cover all my bases. Thanks

My husband was a body shop estimator on high end automobiles and exotics for 15 years. The shops only used Lucinda (Tin Lizzy) for their upholstry. She does awesome work.

    Thanks Jana
Nothing like hearing from folks directly/indirectly in the business. Ive been communicating with Lucinda over the past several weeks and she's been over the top helpful.

They quoted me "about $10,000" to recover the seats on my 308. I forgot about them soon after.

Well, I received the instrument pod cover back from The Tin Lizzie Affair.

Let's just call it perfect. I couldn't be more please with the workmanship. So as Jana says. You get what you pay for.
    Definitely recommended.

I'll take a close up of the pod and stitching tonight. Leather color and stitching is spot on to the Blu Scuro leather. Prior to the work, the pod leather had bubbled up

To make sure that it was an exact match, Tin Lizzie contacted SAFE4NOW for the correct number. Thank you Steve. It was my car you helped with.

Here's a pic of the pod cover in the garage. Oh wait, it seems the rest of the car is...missing. WTH?

It's at Moorespeed having the TPMS sensors replaced.

Just a couple more pics. we all like pics.
Cuoio interior with Blueberry thread. Door panel and new cover...
The thread looks different but it's exactly the same (different lighting)
So, again, bottom line: I am happy with their work and that's all that matters, right.

Bob, our 90 TR dash is still perfect. It is never parked outdoors without a fitted windshield cover in place and a window cracked open for ventilation unless it is raining. After 40 years around these cars there are cars with windshield covers and there are cars with leather damage.
I don't know how many times I have been told a cover looks terrible. I don't really care, my dash looks great.
We have one in every car we own.

I hear ya Brian. Ive got a screen (now), but im pretty sure the previous owners didn't use one based on the bubbling. So far the rest of the dash is good.
