    Fellas, my name is Jake Arrieta, pitcher for the Cubs. I am currently waiting for my 488 gtb, and should take delivery sometime in September. I am going to track the car several times during the offseason at the Longhorn Race Academy as well as the Circuit of the Americas.

    Thought it would be cool to get a group of Ferraris out together and have some fun breaking in my new toy, while meeting some fellow owners in the area.

    Welcome! You will love your 488 I am waiting for a spider around the same time of yours and is plenty of track events at COTA in the fall,winter if you call winter in south Texas! And spring!

    I'm a big fan of carbon fiber with a matte finish, just looks more purposeful and better as an accent. Congrats, it's going to be awesome.

    Jake, you *gotta* meet Stuart (360 Spider) when you're in town. He's one of the members of our local FCA group and a transplanted Chi-town native, so I'm sure he'd love to meet you. He used to place kick for the Bucks.

    The local FCA chapter gets together a couple of times a month on average for a breakfast/happy hour, plus the occasional track day, car meet, etc. and in the Oct/Nov timeframe things get really crazy with lots of events surrounding F1.

    PM me and I can get you looped in with the chapter President who can add you to our mailing list so you get notified of all the things we have going on.

    Congrats on the car and hope to meet up w/you soon.

    Good evening Gentlemen,

    Always looking forward to hanging out with fans of the brand (Ferrari) and fellow ball players. Hill Country Chapter of Ferrari Club of America is very active here in Austin. We do a lot of fun events, from "spirited" tour drives in the Hill Country, track days out at America's only F1 racetrack COTA (Circuit of the Americas), to exclusive dinners at great restaurants to dressing down and doing a drive out for Texas barbeque.

    Folks out here are laid back, aren't stuck up snobs and are a blast to hang out with. We look forward to you coming down to Austin and being just a regular guy for a change. I tell you all of my fellow NFL Alumni, Actors & Musician friends that come in town for a visit love it here.
