50 Years of Porsche Car Show @ TMS 4/28
This may be a Ferrari board, but there has to be some Porsche guys on here from DFW.
If you guys have free time tomorrow after C&B, this looks like a fun event to go to. There will be a lineup of 50 Porsches from each model year from 1962 to 2012. However, there will be more than 50 cars there. Runs from 12-6, cost is $5 to get in, and there will be food there. You don't have to be a PCA member to attend. |

I was a little disappointed. I thought it was disorganized and I couldn't determine the pattern of cars in the parking lot. I thought the focus was the 911 and there would be a 911 from each year 1952-2012 lined up. I still enjoyed it since I talked to some nice people

A few more photos
This gathering of vehicles across 50+ years and numerous models was really impressive, and the PCA folks were super-friendly. Makes me wonder how many Fcars we could get together at one time in the DFW area . . .

So the event was for all Porsches? Not just 911 |

Yup. Just about every model (well, the "common" ones at least) was represented. From the 356 to the latest generation of the 911 and Cayenne. Though, I didn't see a Panamera there.

![]() It was a great show however I got a lot of sun walking that parking lot. Met to interesting people from the PCA club, learned something new which is never a bad thing. Here's a few of my photos. Enjoy!

When were the 4.0s there? I completely missed them. Bummer.
![]() There was a 996 GT3 white with red accents. I like those 996 GT3s and especially in that color combo. |

The blue one got there around 12:15. I left before the black one showed up.

I got there around 2 so they must have both left by then. I've seen the blue one but not the black one. It looks good

Very cool, was this just the PCA for the North Texas region? I went to a PCA show in Scottsdale where they had some cars from out of state.
I really like that white widebody 911 though! |

As for the Ferrari event like this...yes, that would be awesome.
Ash, yes, just the Maverick Region. |

I got there around one, the PCA meet was winding down so I tried to head over to the Pate swap meet but it was too hot walking round in that parking lot. (forgot to bring a hat & sunscreen) I think I left around 3:30 & went to Fred's north for a frosty cold beer & tacos.
