[IMG] Because the French hate inches, over the years, when Michelin have invented new tyre technology they have often tried to use it in conjunction with millimetric wheel sizes. as they did with the first radial tyres they made them to fit 400mm wheels (instead of 16")

Because radial tyre technology some of the early 250 cars had 400mm Borranni wheels ( eg https://www.borrani.com/catalog/product/view/id/215/s/ferrari-250-gt-cab-s1-borrani-wheels-rw-3598/category/1602/ )

For years now there just has not been a 175Hr400 tyre made. However now Pirelli have again produced the 175HR400 Cinturato CA67 that was originally fitted to some of the Ferrari's of this period and you can buy them here https://www.longstonetires.fr/catalog/product/view/id/1879/s/175hr400-pirelli-cinturato/category/2930/

    Or here http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/175hr400-pirelli-cinturato-ca67.html

you can also get them from the other classic Pirelli distributors as well such as Lucas Tires in the States
