Just did a fresh inspection at Ferrari of South Bay. No issues whatsoever with the car, besides a few scratches and chips. Clutch wear at 14%.
I think the reason these cars go through several owners, is that people buy them because they were, and still are in my opinion, the baddest meanest production Ferrari of the time. Also because they had the highest price tag of a 430 it’s the one everyone wanted who could afford one because it was obviously the “best.” As those of us who have them know, they really are the best, however I certainly wouldn’t tell that to someone who wants to drive a 430 alot and be comfortable all of the time. These cars snarl, growl and snort, obviously part of their appral, and are an event every time you drive them. This can be a bit much for some people. In addition, the lightweight sport seats aren’t that comfortable for everyone. So People buy them, then realize maybe it’s not exactly what they were looking for. But if that’s what you’re looking for, not much beats this experience.
Not the best time to sell. If possible, hold till March when prices and interest climb. Great car, fairly priced. GLWS!
Just a note most of the 200K plus cars on Cargurus have been there a year. The market has moved. I'm in the same boat with other possessions. Granted your car is the right color with low miles. Personally I'm not counting on the market getting better.
You never know. Scuderias are amazing cars for the money....but not for everyone. The real Ferrari enthusiasts appreciate these machines. Don't be surprised to see them climbing up again in price.
Maybe I am wrong but it does appear that the market may be turning (up) on the scuderia Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
