    Need to replace my 3 year old battery, as it will no longer hold a charge via the EOM battery conditioners - purchased proper Interstate Gel size/model - can I just disconnect the old battery and install/reconnect the new one or what is the proper procedure here? How do you prevent the loss of the default setting in the car's ECU's while the battery is temporarily disconnected? - please advise.

    Thanks for the good link - I changed the battery with no problems; however, the engine turns over nicely (plenty of power from the new battery), but won't start. How do I go about resetting all of the ECUs back to original in order to start the engine? - please advise.
