No it wasn't, I checked with the timekeeper. Mrs Horse said, "I started the stopwatch as soon as he exited turn 1, just like he told me to do".
The results speak for themselves. Anyway, back to the 2017 F1 season, will Hambone see which way Boatarse goes?
I'm surprised there's been no comments here about Ross Brawn as F1 Sporting Director. The complete end of the Ecclestone era and we're saying "meh" ?
Can only be good I would think. Not too many near 90 year old's are on the ball; look at PP for instance.
I'm quietly excited, Brawn has a much better understanding of what fans want and Liberty Media seem to be hiring high achieving people. It makes all the difference when personal greed is not the 1st priority, as it always was with Bernie. Meanwhile, Manor is gone and others are on the brink (e.g. Sauber) so there are real challenges ahead.
well Brawn certainly has the right stuff, but a media company wouldn't have bought F1 if they didn't think they could milk more ads / product tie in... hard to imagine they really have any interest in Motorsport per se...
Sorry Karen, but stupid post. By hiring Brawn they have demonstrated that they have an idea of how to make more people watch.
Not so sure Brawn has the right stuff after his comments about eliminating blue flags even for lapped cars to "generate" some interest ... Reference F1-live.com Pete
