Missed the Corvette incident. What happened?
Iconic shot.....and the Toyota curse strikes again!!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
High speed spin, possible tire failure, and broke off the wing hitting the tire barrier. Was close to pits but spun and beached it getting in. Damage already fixed, the beaching was a huge time killer.
It's everywhere. The new generation needs the immediate satisfaction of (artificially induced) close competition. Thus the spec cars everywhere and BS BoPing everywhere else.
Fair but per the other threads apparently the race at Texas was awesome. All joking aside I get your point but it works in this respect because there are other classes in the same race. A spec P2 race only would totally suck. But as a way to get more people learning prototype it's cool to have them there. imo at least.
One good thing - Toyota has a chance to redeem themselves after last year's heartache. Would like to see them win it...
Does anyone know why the Ford's have the big red lights in the flying buttress. Red is P1 so it isn't class designation.
Different cars have different colors so they are easier to identify at night. I think each GT has a different color.
I can't find a gallery that has the night shots up yet. I'll send through when I see one. If it goes by on the TV you'll see it but they haven't shown it in a bit.
Saw it. Yes, ident lights.I presume there's still manual (human) backup scorers and It was and is there so the scorers don't miss the count as the car races by.
behind the drivers side window.....where the air flows beneath the buttress coming off the roof line. hmmmm....don't know. Image Unavailable, Please Login
