    Hi all,

I drive a 2002 360 Spider F1 and always felt like the clutch was slipping too much when driving off.
As the TCU was not using a software version for which the PIS could be set with the SD2 I decided to upgrade for a Challenge Stradale TCU.

I only drove the "Bellissima" back from the garage but I could notice some little difference. It slips a little less when driving off and changes a lot quicker especially on downshifts. It is not spectacular but noticable...
I am curious to see how this will affect my clutchwear mid and long-term.

Btw, I bought it new on Ricambi who delivered it very quickly even it was backordered.
Price is not cheap ... ($2200...$2400+shipping-FCA promo code).

Let me know about your impressions... as I was expecting a much bigger difference.
    Thanks
    Steve.

I also swapped my transmission ecu for the CS one. I noticed quite a difference. Although most of the difference was when I drove the car with a bit of "spirit". There was much less slip away from the lights immediately and this was further enhanced when I stomped on the accelerator. I find that the CS ecu allows me to be much more agressive with my driving style, which was the opposite to the original ecu. This was exactly what was missing from the previous set up. I didn't buy my 360 to have to worry about clutch slip.

Try harder! The more I push the ecu the better it gets.

    Pretty much mirrors my experience.

After 18 months and 7k miles I wouldn't swap it back.
As Belfry says it is better when you're driving a bit more spirited.

Driving spirited is more of my driving style so I'll probably enjoy it more.
The only concern I am having is the my clutch was changed 1000 miles ago and wear shows already 14%...!
Another reason I was ready to put money into the upgrade.

Thanks all for sharing your experience...

Have you verified that he transferred the parameters? When he installed my TCU he did not.

He told me he programmed the TCU...not sure about the parameters transfer...

How did you have them transfered then?
