512 TR Carrier Upgrade Question

I feel like this is a stupid question but here goes, can you do this upgrade without pulling the engine?

Yes Mel, I've read your thread four or five times over the years it's a great thread!

 

No Mel, I still have this beautiful '77 308 GTB which just won a couple of shows this summer. I have always loved the 512 TR and I am now thinking of trading up. Two of the cars I am looking at ('92) have had fresh belt changes, but still have the original carriers. That's why I asked the question.
