Correct but those prices 750k 2003-2004 500-600k 2005 300k 2013 750k 2015 1.2-1.7m 2017 And it will go up! Just because of V12 BBLM was not the best GTLM in period...look at prices now From lesss than 200k usd to 1.5-2m or even more
IIRC, a BBLM finished 5th and 9th OA at Le Mans. One was leading (1st OA) at Daytona before it was crashed out by Moretti's 935. One was running 2nd OA at Le Mans before DNF'ing. There were also "just" a few privateer entrants that ever really ran these. Perhaps not a dominator, but maybe not as poor a showing as has been characterized? And, yes, BBLM prices started going up in the late 1990's after they were approved for acceptance into the Historic Challenge series (and have continued on from there), but, when a ProDrive 550 reportedly sells for close to EUR 3MM, it doesn't quite make sense to me, either. Silly money, but all it takes is ONE buyer who REALLY wants it, and that transaction re-sets the market. This particular 575 never raced and either is or is not the only Michelotto-built 575. Either way, the joy of owning these cars is in the driving, IMO, and not in the warehousing of them. CW

Barrett Jackson was wrong with their description: Michelotto did not made one single 575 GTC, nada niente. Maybe they were misinformed by the (ex)owner?
