Had a good run but anyone in UK who bought above £150 will be very tight, same going for 355 and others that have had a good run.

I agree, Scraggy. Last October, a good one was £170-£180k ish and I think beyond that they overcooked. I reckon the price now is the same as it was then.

    Two years ago, much less.

As I was saying, £259k is about the right price for a manual 575 now.

Sadly not - dont believe the asking prices for 575 manual just now, for sure up on say H1 2015 but 20% maybe more off peak.

You can't make a wrong decision that ends up with an F12, so congratulations!

Terry - thanks for the kind support on 575.

I am quite experienced but am aware respect is required especially if damp or cold. Many thanks.

In the words of a senior Ferrari person when talking about (experienced!) auto journalists testing the F12: "We did warn them. But they didn't listen."

And then I think he said "And when they came back they said, "£&@", you were right!"

    Enjoy.

Only accident I ever had was pretty much snapping a 599 HGTE in half fish tailing at low temps, hopefully that was my warning....

My techs scared themselves driving a customer's F12 and they were not pushing it that hard. That is lot of hp, over 200 more than a 575M and close to the same for a Superamerica or 612, plus a whole lot more torque (690 Nm vs our 588).

Incidentally, I have an F12 WSM. Kind of inconvenient since it is a bunch of separate pdf files, but what the heck. Have not bothered to glue it together yet.

I don't think you could buy one for sub-200k. But I don't think you could sell one for much more than 200k - though the 260k Slades car mogulboy noted as being sold might disprove that.

My dealers are all convinced they could sell my car as SOR for 220k+ and it's not a low miler.

Make of that what you will...

I would be inclined to take Slades statement that they have sold the car (advertised at £259k) with a pinch of salt.

They allegedly 'sold' the Giallo one (advertised at £199k) last year and then immediately relisted it for sale at £249k. Easily done with the favourable tailwinds of a rising market....

Slades have little obvious substance (despite listing over 70 cars for sale) and limited trading history, despite pretending that they were established in 1922! They do appear to offer storage services though and that could be what drives their SOR business model.

They are possibly one notch above the fictional Knockers&Snatch, as seen on SniffPetrol, in my book. ;)

RM Sotheby's are running what appears to be a very interesting auction in Milan in November 25-27th.

DUEMILA RUOTE - MILAN, ITALY | Coinciding with the Milano AutoClassica, the Classic and Sports Car Show

There's a manual 575M in the preliminary catalogue...

Not much detail at this point (e.g. kms unknown) but it's an Italian registered 2003 in Blu NART over Cuoio Daytonas (swoon!). Modulars over what appears to be a set of floating-rotor front brakes. The instrument binnacle would appear to have been re-trimmed in alcantara and it another visit to the trimmers would probably be a good idea ;)

What's happened to this interior? Have a look the leather (…or whatever it is…) covering the instrumental binnacle or the strange shrinkage of the leather covering the passenger air bag....

There's a manual 599 in that auction too. Strange tale. Good thread about the sale in the Vintage section here.
