The correct french market lights arrived this week. I was given the name Daniel Stern Lighting in the 400 section so I looked him up and sure enough he had what I needed. A pleasant experience as well. Fog lights I found dirt cheap on ebay new in the boxes. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I can't wait to see how it looks once it's all put back together. It looks as if your upholsterer does very nice work.
We switched from the cloth / leather combo to the full leather option because the correct cloth wasn't available in the right colour and the full leather just looks great too.
So so nice. Drool!!! Amazing attention to detail. One day this car will sit on the lawn at pebble. Boxers will have their day and this car is a tremendous example.

When I redid my suspension, there were questions as to correct color of the components on an 84. We kept the original silver, I see this is all done gold. Is there any difinitive color for an 84?
Everything is gold in the suspension in 84. 82 most things were gold with some exceptions like the spark plug tubes, rod access plates, some suspension hardware but the rest was gold. 84 there's no silver in the suspension and even the spark plug tubes are gold. Rod access plates are still silver though. As the cars got newer the silver was phased out. Maybe because it was simpler for Ferrari or just because it's better. The clear zinc shelf life is around 6x shorter than yellow. Whatever the life expectancy, it's significantly shorter. The yellow zinc fades over time or can come off instantly with a harsh cleaner. Not surprised your arms looked silver but they should be gold.
Beautiful craftsmanship Paul. I may have to see if I can pry it out of your hands when you are finished!
Paul, I see the boxer has forged steel control arms. The early TR welded tubular arms. Later TR stamped arms?
Yes but without looking in the parts book I don't know if the transition was 88.5 with the 5 bolt wheel to the stamped arms but 89 was for sure. Then the 512 TR in 92 got longer control arms but still stamped.
