Automatics only , pfft. After my Milano debacle ( I can't help loving that car) wherein it was in the shop every week, this Giulia garners zero interest from one of the few who know it has arrived on our shores. Good luck to the cognoscenti. It won't be me, although I might capitalize on those who quit on it early due to qc. Nah, once burned ....
Ad was not to bad either. I owned GTV6's, Milano's and 164's and the 164's were a lot more reliable. I drove the wheels off 3 164's, and the 1993's would need a belt at 50,000 and a trans seal/clutch around 90,000, whichever went out first. The GTV6's were a lot more nimble and fun to drive but needed more attention as did the Milano.
They're throwing a lot of $$ at this car's advertising campaign. Pretty bold and confident. Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk

alfa romeo and tom brady both win the superbowl!!! alfa sponsors the first overtime superbowl in history!!! and great commercials for a gorgeous car. can this bode well???
and another comment. at the precise time the first alfa commercial occurred, I got an e-mail from alfa romeo na with a link to the commercial...again, well played alfa!!!
Having 3 separate ads surprised me. They never re-ran one. When Ford did the Ford GT last year they had one ad and ran it 3 times. The message of the 3 Alfa spots: First: Alfa is back Second: Driving is fun again Third: Italian means sexy They spent millions and millions today. I hope it pays off. I'm guessing they will do another blitz when the Stelvio arrives. Potentially the Stelvio will bring them more $$$ than the Guilia. It's a good day to be an Alfisti.
IMO, Audi wasted millions on their spot for a cause no one really much cares about when deciding to buy a car.
I love those cars --- but they do fall apart. This has been Alfa's weakness for a long time (Fiat too) The giulia might be the first world class mass production vehicle since the 60's. Its too early to say but it does look good.
Gents, let's celebrate the fact that Alfa is actually back lol The cars will not rust away......its 2017!......they may have small niggling QC issues as any new platform does. How corporate and dealership network deals with them is important. Maserati owners chime in ? A must watch teaser from Motor Trend.
