I swapped the OEM unit in my 456 with a newer unit from a 430 (a Becker 6112). Since both are OEM Ferrari radios it was fairly simple. The only issue is that the 6112 is about 1/8 in deeper, so it rests on the tunnel. Ordinarily it wouldn't be an issue, but the 6112 has a cooling fan on the back panel and resting on the tunnel prevented adequate cooling. So I am fabricating a small spacer to go around the opening to hold the body up a tad.

I had originally wanted a 6105 so it was the same as the OEM radio in my 360. Ones like the second one you list usually go for $500-700 on eBay.

The one from Becker Auto Sound is nice but the internals are no longer stock. While it does have nice features, Bluetooth, etc., the Ferrari script at startup is different. I wanted to retain an OEM Becker unit so went with the 6112.

At some point, I will probably downgrade to a 6105.

BTW - Since I rarely listen to either radio, they're mostly for show.

I installed a Becker 6112, too, and absolutely love it! It's easy to purchase a spare 355->Becker stereo OEM connector and modify it to this Becker stereo - so you can just plug the unit into the connector adapter and it plugs right into the car (in place of the Sony stereo connector). 182025 RADIO CONNECTING CABLES -Valid… : Ricambi America. Plug & play with no wiring to deal with. In my opinion, this unit looks and sounds much better than the Sony OEM radio. Also, it is blue tooth compatible and has NAV capabilities. By the way, I have a spare one in near perfect condition... PM or email me if you're interested in it and I'll give you a great deal.

That's awesome - does the nav work? No extra antennas needed?

The nav works but it's not that great; Waze is much better. You do need the GPS antenna, but pretty easy to get. The CD ROM and Nav CF card are more difficult to find. I do have the iPhone connector, so I can listed to & charge my iPhone 7 at the same time.

I put a Becker 6105 from a 430 in my 355 - it slipped in like butter. It has bluetooth capability but I didn't set it up as I can't hear it with test pipes and Tubi exhaust!

He might not be a sponsor any more I just checked. Someone on here might remember the name sorry.

Found it exotic car gear. They say 1100 plus a 360 wheel.
