Hello Folks So, we were sent our first set of 599 parts - steering column surround, seat controls and head light / mirror controls. My colleague Randy replicated the factory graphics to perfection and we have just completed the refinishing and laser work. We don't just clean these off, these are stripped to bare plastic, fully refinished and laser etched for the graphics We will post some more completed photos once the parts get assembled tomorrow. These are just also iphone photos. Here is the before and after head light / mirror control Thank you very much for taking the time to look and review our work. Give us a call or shoot me an email if you would like to discuss your car dave.lelonek@**********.com Thank you. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hello Guys, Will post some other photos later but here is the completed headlight / mirror controls and seat controls. To my knowledge, no other company has refinished these to the same standards as the OEM including the laser etching of all graphics Thanks for looking ................................. Beautiful work. As Terry writes, the parts look better than new. Also, a real travesty that a $325,000+ car has these problems.
____________ I cannot believe how crappy the originals look...terrific job and you are in NY. My 550B should be no problem eh?? Jack
Much appreciated, Terry Thank you, Frank Thanks, Jack We are in western NY, south of Buffalo. Your 550 would be no issues at all. Shoot me an email if you wish to discuss dave.lelonek@**********.com
Good Afternoon Everyone, I wanted to share a couple more close-ups / photos, of the 599 parts we finished recently. Dave does an absolutely brilliant job of the refinishing. However (and he will agree) taking pictures is best left to me Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Randy is correct, he takes way better pics than I do Well here is an in process photo before black and laser Image Unavailable, Please Login
Outstanding work! Funnily enough, here in SA with our generally hot climate I haven't seen too many sticky cars and perhaps the strangest of all was a car that hardly ever left the garage, that had sticky parts.
Damn I need to do that on some of my 612 parts. Parts need to be shipped right? Silly question, how do I have them removed and reinstalled from the car?
Thank you, Jacques Yes, parts need to be removed and then shipped to us for refinishing. Please send me an email so we may discuss your specific needs dave.lelonek@**********.com Thank you very much
Hello Tom, I hope you are doing well. Thank you very much buddy, I appreciate it. I hope you are enjoying the 360 and 458 - both great cars you have
Can you recreate buttons from scratch? My understanding is that elements like the reverse button differ from the conventional buttons (like the seat switches), and are therefor subject to crumbling/breaking and thus impossible to "fix" when they become sticky. Is that true? If so, do you have a solution for that?
Hello Joe, You are correct - those buttons are rubber. Take a look at this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/612-599/440166-f599-reverse-button.html We have created a 3D model of the button and had one prototype 3D printed. 3D printing is expensive and the resolution is not fine enough. Also, the material has some heat challenges. We are working on a solution to have these buttons molded. Stay tuned
Thanks for the info, Dave. Love the innovation. I believe Isaac Newton once stated "For every sticky button, there is an unequal, and thoroughly superior, reaction."
HAHA Now that's funny Qksilver ^ Here's a Video of the 599 Headlight Control Housing during the laser process: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BN3brM2ysYo[/ame]
Fantastic. How does it work, does it "burn" away the black paint and expose the paint underneath? Sent from my HUAWEI P7-L10 using Tapatalk
Hi There, The laser process actually is fairly involved, but yes, that's the short of it... Thanks for viewing.
Good Morning All, Wanted to share a short clip of the Seat Control Rocker Switches getting their Logos: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ92ZURMHhE[/ame] Best Regards, Randy
Hello Folks, We've been refinishing alot of 599's as of lately. Here is an HVAC panel we did for a customer in Hong Kong. We thank him for his trust and support Image Unavailable, Please Login
