I don't know if Syria and a fatal car accident quite compare news wise, but these sort of accidents usually don't stick in the press for long periods of time... I would guess the next we hear are when there are charges...

Well, since this bled over into another thread, I decided to spend some time here and read it. And, after having read it, I will cackle this: The driver of this car is a scumbag for leaving the scene and not doing something--even if it is calling an ambulance--to help a person who would ultimately die. The cops should pull DNA and all other evidence and put this ****** behind bars for a very long time.

Oh and that Goodman guy . . . he doesn't deserve to be a member of the human race. Total scum.

    How's that?

I'm guessing the perp has paid off the family and agreed to "self deport" in order to make the case go away.

Who knows why it is taking so long? A Porsche driver killed two pedestrians at Ft Lauderdale beach a few years ago and I remember it took a long time for anything to happen with the driver.

True, but the cops made an arrest pretty quickly, iirc.

Yeah, I think you're right. Obviously no arrest here or it would be nationwide news. No one here has anything new?

Whoa! Just came upon this...What is it with FL being a magnet for crooks and idiots? It seems that the state attracts the worst kinds of everything.

Even the cops dont seem to do their job! 2 months - 1 dead, plenty of evidence to ID someone and no arrest ???? Clearly, the car owner, guilty or not should have been contacting the police by now. If not there is no excuse after 2 months.

The issue is no longer the accident and how it happened but rather how everyone down there is handling this: car owner, cops, media dropping the ball, etc..

On the other hand you also have Toronto ("crack city heaven") where the Mayor polls went up after confessing smoking crak in a "drunken stupor" and threatening to kill someone on video..

    That is all quite unreal...

Biggest Troll post I've seen on Ferrarichat.

We don't know what's going on in this case, the full facts, and what the State Police and Prosecutor in that jurisdiction is doing, plain and simple.

All big cities in every state have "the worst kinds of everything" going on, don't kid yourself.

Can't help but think that the State Attorney's Office in charge of the investigation
could be contacted for an updated status of the case?
