Thanks Tina! Yes I have some more but I have to resize them first and that takes some time but I'll do that later Martin
Thanks! Unfortunately there was no Enzo!! I hoped to see one but the cars seemed to be just on the homepage Martin
No we didn't ask them about the Enzos. There was an older salesman but he talked with some clients about the colours of an Aston Martin so I didn't interup him. There was also an other salesman but he walked/run from one office to another and I missed him everytime In the past they had a lot of cars on their homepage that were not in the showroom. Martin
@ Tina here are some more pics of the Dino. BTW I tought about you when I took the pics (I read in another threat that it was your dream car ) and so I took some more. But the Dino is indeed a very nice car!! Martin Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

wow that was nice of you Martin And you have a good memory! It IS my dream Ferrari.... eeh in a distant future Thanks for the extra pics. I especially love the last one
They still have I read somewhere that they should have a Bugatti Veyron for sale.... but I don't see it on any of the pics
Martin those are wonderful pictures. Can you please explain The Auto Salon? For years they have had the most extensive collection I have seen ever seen! I even have their brochures and it is unbelievable. I understand most are consignment cars. But it is still very impressive to be able to display such inventory. Thanks for sharing. The Gohm dealership is also stunning! Vasco
@Martin, thanks a lot for this wonderful thread and all the fantastic pics. About the cars fom the Auto-Salon-Singen: Reading their advertises in all the big car magazines it looks like they do have the biggest car collection on earth!? But.....: - Most of the cars (i.e. expensive Super Sports Cars, Vintage Racers) are on CONSIGMENT - Most of the cars are still at heir owners and in their garages - You have to make appointment, show highly interest and they will arrange a meeting with THE car (they call the owner, pick up the car with a flatbed, bring it o he AS.....a.s.o.) Anyway, its always a great spot to see o many Ferraris at 1 place!!! Best Wolfgang
I have heard some very bad stories about Auto Salon Singen from 3 different people. The last story I heard was 2 weeks ago from a respected Ferrari garage in NL (Forza). He has been there 3 times (any clue about the distance from the center of NL??) and 3 times the car was not there. "Just sold" "Paid cash and took the car yesterday night etc". The last time he asked 3 times if the blue 456GT was really there as he had to come with his truck to collect it the next morning. He was ensured that it was 100% there and it looked exactly as discribed etc. Numbers and confirmation by fax etc. So he went there (700 km?) with his truck 90 kmh and drove the whole night. He had the cash with him if the car was ok. Next morning on arrivel, the car was just sold and away... This time he had to be removed by the police. It was the 3rd time. Martin, nothing beats your lovely pics and the huge collection you spotted there though !
Thanks for your comments Adnaan,Vasco, Wolfang and Henkie. I allways thought they had a good reputation but it's a very bad behavior to tell someone a car is there and then he drives 700 km to see that the car isn't there! I think on the old site was written that they had good conections to collectors and that they could organize (nearly) every car for customers. You just had to fill out a file what car you wanted. But I think that the Auto-Salon is "just" a big used exotic car dealer. When I was there in 2002 they had 3 Pagani Zondas and lots of information brochures (it seemed as if they were kind of a Pagani dealer) but this time was nothing there! The salesmen were very friendly and said hello to us and nothing against taking lots of pictures and looking under cars and so on. But they should be used to visitors. We were not the only ones who took lots of pictures. We also saw some guys from NL and they didi exactly the same as we did. First Auto-Salon and then Gohm Martin
Great pictures! Thanks! Looking at your pics, the 456 GT suddenly strikes me as dated. I always thought the 456 would stand the passing of time quite well, but it looks like it didn't. From a side view the backend looks really heavy moreso in relation to the rather 'flat' front. Still a beautiful car of course!
Its a great garage to visit, but if your travelling from long distance its always best to check what they actually have in stock. I made that mistake back in July 05 when i visited especially from England. I thought they had in the place what they have on their web site, but they hardly ever do! So always check first. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67360&highlight=clk+gtr
They keep this practice it as a secret on their website. A complete contrary impression is created with all the pics on their website showing cars on the AS white floor - in reality absent cars they don't own!!! Most stock offers listed in the www are missing when you visit the AS- showroom. That's really disappointing. Hate to say: close to cheat cinque
