Some rather strong personalities here "questioned" his life accomplishments, and abilities. I hope this product will point out to them how "wrong" they were! He was really trying to get John Fitch's story out there to a modern audince while he was still with us.....those of us that know history of course were already aware of his work with the early Corvettes, auto design and traffic safety engineering.

"NEW" True Scale 1/43rd Porsche 356 Pre A Eva Peron Pan Am 1953 is out. Looks better than the old BBR/Project 43 model. The TSM model is correct in that the #200 car was without a rear bumper during the race. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2013-Chicago March 2013 Image Unavailable, Please Login

A few more from one of the Canada Shoes drivers family members as posted on Stephen Mitchell's site of better quality than I had. I hope we see more videos and a book soon. I think he will do it justice!! The Canada Shoes 356 did not have bumpers in the 1953 Carrera Panamericana. The bottom shot must be on the way to the race. For more information on the Canada cars go back a few pages. http://emcpb.blogspot.com/2011/07/carrera-photos-from-tomas-lopez-rocha.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
