    Some rather strong personalities here "questioned" his life accomplishments, and abilities.

    I hope this product will point out to them how "wrong" they were!

    He was really trying to get John Fitch's story out there to a modern audince while he was still with us.....those of us that know history of course were already aware of his work with the early Corvettes, auto design and traffic safety engineering.

    Big Carrera book in the auction today, publisher Automobilia, at le' art et la automobilia sight, ends today or tomorrow.

    No idea if $325 is a 'good price' but no action on it, at that level right now.

    CMM will do these 2 Pan am Porsche 356 pre A's in 1/12th. Also BBR will do the following 1/43rd built Pan Am 356's again built. Spark have several Pan Am 356's and 550's listed as coming soon in both 1/43rd and 1/18th along with True scale.

    "NEW" True Scale 1/43rd Porsche 356 Pre A Eva Peron Pan Am 1953 is out. Looks better than the old BBR/Project 43 model. The TSM model is correct in that the #200 car was without a rear bumper during the race.

    A few more from one of the Canada Shoes drivers family members as posted on Stephen Mitchell's site of better quality than I had. I hope we see more videos and a book soon. I think he will do it justice!!

    The Canada Shoes 356 did not have bumpers in the 1953 Carrera Panamericana. The bottom shot must be on the way to the race. For more information on the Canada cars go back a few pages.
