to be fair, I don't blame them...it's probably more like 11-12 before they reclaim their lot, and giving up a huge chunk of the busiest sales day of the week would irritate me too. dealers have to work really hard for a C&C event to make sense for them, it has to be a key part of their marketing strategy, have buy in from the whole company (sales, parts, service), intelligent ways of integrating products into the event without it looking like a Tupperware party, and so on. I've seen few dealers make it work.
How bad is it to have fifty to one hundred potential (and established) customers on your lot? Car salesmen tend to be a somewhat irrational bunch.
It's probably more of a marketing decision. When things were bad it was a good way to create exposure. Also, a boost in moral as with no foot traffic day in day out, things would get depressing. But...fast forward to 2015, cars are flying off the shelves, orders are piling up so......why are we spending this money we don't need to? Shamile Freeze. ..Miami Vice!

I'm out this month. Doing insulation/drywall in the shop. I refuse to sweat it out this summer. Climate control is apparently not an option in central Florida. Wade, if EuroJam is played-out by the time ya'll get there you can swing by my place downtown, DrywallJam will be in full effect! Now to find a drywall lift with 15' reach...

Thanks to all those who showed up yesterday. Unfortunately, our photographers were unable to attend. We had a nice assortment of cars and a "Virgnia Tech" Speciale that was just delivered last night made its presence from Tampa. See you next month!

To be clear the bra in question was on the 430. There were Benjamins at the ready but we got by on charm alone.
