Saturday, June 25th The weather is saying 77 degrees and CLEAR! Can it be we will actually have a dry day for a change? Should be an awesome day for C&C. Hope everyone can make it. If I can sort out my alternator/battery issue, I might be up for a drive or something after C&C.
Been crazy busy here so haven't made it yet this year, but making space for 308 suspension work...........
Just got back from (another) Europe trip and saw this. Summer seems to be slipping away - again - with loads of travel. Hell, I haven't been to C&C since early May! Not good, not good at all. Brian, since I am 99.9% sure your post was a polite hint for me, we'll need to get it on the schedule as I have a nasty rattle up front in cool/cold temps. I'll give you a call. Anyway, I plan to be at C&C this coming Saturday no matter what!!!! Ciao
Me, polite? Now that's a first! Kidding..... Great to see the growing numbers of new owners in this town. Trick is now to get them, 1) out to C&C 2) servicing their vehicles on the Westside....... Thinking we need to arrange a drive, start at the shop for snack then head south..........Got a killer 996TT just finished, waaay too fast for the street.
Bump for this weekend! First Sat of July! We definitely need to get a drive scheduled. Rain this year has made that tough. At least the grass is green, even if it is a foot tall.
Man am I in need of a drive too. Can't be this weekend, but I'll make some time coming up. I like your shop as the launching point. My weekend have been so busy I finally said screw it, I drove the Ferrari to work today just to get some seat time.
A good customer and friend, Dave McManus (yellow Pantera), is again organising a small gathering at the winery downtown August 6. looking for a Ferrari to display. He normally shows about 50 cars, trying to rotate them to keep it fresh. I can forward details to any interested. I think Kevin Yates will take either the Diablo or 996TT. A drive, lets get some suggestions, I'll get the coffee.........
Brian...is a Datsun welcome for your drive? With your shop on the westside of Indy, maybe its time to do a drive that is on the west. 1) Easy run out to Turkey Run, loop around Shades and back. Lunch at Turkey Run Inn. 2) Modified version of the 200 miler I lead a few years ago. Monrovia to Spenser to Bedford then instead of going all the way to Story & Nashville, go back up toward Bloomington. Would need a lunch suggestion. 3) Old standby of Hwy 135 and 58 with a stop at Story for lunch.
Another nice spot to add to the lunch possibilities list when running the back roads. In Beanblossom, In. http://www.farmhousecafeandtearoom.com/

Maybe you can enjoy the WORKING a/c this weekend......... Ready to go Mike, I'll e mail the damage.........
OMG....we must have had close to 150 cars today! But those of you that didn't make it will never know... Guess you'll have to show up next time to see it all.
No, we missed the handshake. Thanks for driving down from Michigan! Mine was the Datsun Z parked next to your Camaro.
