Absolutely gorgeous - even though it's still incomplete! What about the wheels and mirrors - are they going to be colour-coded or remain silver and black?
Wheels and mirrors (will remain) color coded. Here is a photo of what the car looked like before we started: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great work indeed. I have never seen anyone that have removed the front spoiler when doing a full paint job. You are really going for it and I bet the end result will be more than great. Looking forward to seeing more pics. Are you painting the wheels as well?
Great work. I'm wondering to know how the fenders extension will stick to the fenders ? Glued or with rivet ? when you will be at that stage, can you make close up pics ? also extension inner side and outside pics. Thanks in advance.
The fender flares are riveted. You have to remove the fuel tanks to properly re-attach the rear flares. Needless to say, we have refurbished the fuel tanks and replaced the fuel level sender as well as all fuel hoses and cavis fuel breather hoses as well as new fuel pumps.
Nice job indeed. Can you please make me a picture of the (inside door) window lifting mechanism ? Thanks in advance.
ah, you already put back the extensions... I was wondering you show us how & where you riveted them on the alu fender ??? eventually, can you shoot pics for front & rear => Inside view & close up thanks in advance
The (COMPLETELY rebuilt) suspension is going back on. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, latest progress is as follows: Fully rebuilt suspension and brakes are installed. Body seams are "caulked" as per factory. (MUCH better, actually) Reconditioned instrument cluster is installed, and looking the business... Progress has been slow, but the results are very gratifying to see.
