Australia also received RHD FI cars - at least 1 Rosso Corsa/Crema car, for sale in London about 10 years ago.

Of course Canada also received DD cars new as well. However I realize not in the Anniversario spec, just the prior QV models.

    Very cool Mike.

As with the Downdrafts, decades later, relevant technical & historical material is being uncovered and we continue to learn.

    Thanks fir sharing.

Rob, I assure you this car is amazing in the flesh. Albeit many years ago, I have seen it a number of times in London, and it is stunning.

The color is a special-order one-off non-metallic 'Bentley Green' and the interior is all Bentley with Connolly leather used for the dark-green-with-red piping, a livery that was available in 1990 with Bentley. It has the Downdraft engine, the big wing, and the sports exhaust, this is a no-regrets car, if I wanted to buy a RHD 25th Anniversario, this car would be my very first choice. Its been well-maintained, not modified, has tons of character, is sublimely unique, and ticks all the boxes.

And no, I have no affiliation with the seller!

BTW, I think you should contact Sheikh Amari (or the soon-to-be-new owner) and have him bring it to your Countach Reunion.

Ditch the red piping, and a 1975 Lincoln mark 4 interior is not a far fetched comparo, that beeing said ,i really like it, its different ,and Countach does very well being different,as Joe said ,if i was in the market, i would do some serious home work on this one, ( i do actually like mid 70s Lincolns and their color options) very cool

Stumbled across this thread by accident.

Here is a bit of old home movie I took back in the day of my British 25th, KLA12633

The start of the video is it being started for the first time for months in the winter, hence all the condensation from the exhaust. At this point it had only 4,000 miles on it. I wasn't a typical wealthy Lamborghini owner, but was just a regular guy who having seen the Cannonball Run movie aged 10, had lived at home with my parents and saved up every single penny I'd every seen for 14 long years until I could afford to buy one, sacrificing everything along the way. I sold it in 2001. Yes, it was worth it.

    Weird.

Bear with me on this one...

At the recent Goodwood Revival Auction, there was this black RHD Anniversary Countach for sale. [screenshot from auction website]........

Nice car - black, red interior, RHD, Anniversary Countach, low mileage, low number of owners and UK registered G358VYL.

According to the catalog chassis number KLA12815, which is a RHD black Countach Anniversary......

But UK registration G358VYL is on KLA12926 - which is another RHD black Countach Anniversary.......

Must have got my numbers mixed up....?

Then I went to the Revival, and took these photos of the car.

    It is KLA12926.

The auctioneers got the chassis number of the wrong in the catalog [you'd think a typo or something]....

....but how did they have one black RHD Countach Anniversary in their auction, but put the chassis number of another identical black RHD Countach Anniversary in the catalog? It's kind of a rare car...

    Weird.

    Can anyone explain this?

Jaa1359, I have not seen much activity in the 25th Anniversario market this year, and what little I have seen as been @ 20-30% less than 2014/15 numbers. I think USA cars are less than Eu/ROW Downdraft cars but not much. I think this particular car will go for a very reasonable number at the auction - stay tuned.

I have heard from the guys at the DTC who homologate exotic cars in Switzerland that they were almost impossible to register. When I talked to them, they had two in the shop and said to me there was little chance that they would pass the test.

Another one from the same brochure. It is interesting to see that only one car has got the wing on this picture.

Based on the total production number, now we know how many of each color was produced.

FWIW there were two green RHD 25th Anniversarios I'm aware of, one metallic and the other non-metallic, I saw both (assuming they were only 2) when new.

Interestingly, green and a number of other special-order colors such as orange & purple are not mentioned in the color chart above.

The last Countach ever built by the factory is vin number 12995 and was of course a 25 Anniversary (like the Miura SV ) built for the famous Canadian F1 Walter Wolf

This is definitely not correct, the last 25th built is the factory Museum car, it was built with the first diablos right behind here, don't get fooled by the VIN.
The factory Museum car was built 13th June 1990, there is a Picture showing it. This Picture was for sure already posted in this thread!

Thank you, but I believe the facts and 12995 is the last built for Walter Wolf
Now if the factory play game after the end of production, he dont change anythings.
Walter Wolf did the same thing with his Miura SV. He bought the last one
You spoke with Wolf ? Me i did

And the factoty have invited 12995 to their concours d Elegance

If Mr. Wolfs car was built in March and the Factory built the Museum car in June of the same year, which one is most likely the last Countach built?
Here the last built Countach with Lee Iacocca himself: http://www.countach.ch/History/25th/Lasts.jpg
When you write LLA12995 was the last Countach built for Mr. Wolf, this is for sure correct, but it's not the last Countach built in General :)

BTW By Chance I saw LLA12995 in 2001, since it was side by side parked to the Mimran QV when I bought GLA12997, here in Switzerland.
I was also in contact with the Guy who bought then LLA12995 and it was not clear if Walter Wolf or german dealer Walter Wolff from dusseldorf was the owner, who knows what happened to LLA12995, how it came to europe etc. I didn't follow this later anymore, nor what happened to LLA12995.
