same brand new RHD 5000S tested by Valentino Balboni near Castefranco Emilia, Italy, with Lambo factory test plate. Scan from Jeremy Coulter book "Lamborghini Countach LP400, LP500S", a cheap 1985 very good book, with many pictures of the age, very useful during a Countach 5000S restore (or of a 400S3) ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
maybe a lot of you already know this famous picture, a scan from the back cover of Jean-Marc Borel book "Lamborghini" ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
A great shot but why did they have to black out the door jamb by David's right foot? Also it looks as if the raised door is dangerously close to his manhood!
Maybe something right behind the statue but in front of the car. How do you think they got the door to stay in the upright position?

Last year when Lexus was introducing the LF-A out here on the west coast, they came out to our weekly Exotics @ Redmond Town Center event. They liked my Countach so much, they wanted to have some photographers make some images (Thanks to both James Boyer and Nate Hawbaker for these). Here are a few. Amazing to see the aerodynamic differences from 1986 to 2012. Mike, your car is a mint one, very very good looking: may be the best USA legal Countach i have ever seen. ciao
Awesome pictures!!!! I was in the mountains with my grandparents in the early/mid 80's and we were in Estes Prak Colorado and I spotted a red Countach and a white Countach being filmed/video taped on the side of the road. Needless to say I flipped out when I saw them, haha. I must have been 7-10 years old at the time. I will never forget that.
a production LP400 at Bologna airport, mid seventies. Car is pictured aside the Itavia DC9-15 I-TIGI, (probably) shot down by french Mirage jetfighters on june 27, 1980, near Ustica isle, as the result of a miltary action to kill Libyan dictator Mu'ammar Gheddafi. Casualties: 81, all of them. A scan from the great book "Lamborghini", Jean Marc Borel, 1981. ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great photo! But without the seat on the right, the grass and the trees in the backgound it would be perfect! Just my humble opinion as an ex-Art Director..
