Hello! Since these cars have large amounts of oil and coolant and take a long time to warm up, has anybody thought or experimented to use a block or oil heater? Oil heater would probably be more difficult with dry sump systems but a block heater should be somewhat easy. Since idling a cold car for 5-10 minutes is not really ideal or recommended by Ferrari, a solution like this could reduce oil heating time significantly. What do you think?

One could simply put the oil heater in the dry sump, as there is precious little room in the bottom of the block.

Interesting idea , I like the sound of using a heater in the dry sump. I'm sure there are reliable and proven ways of keeping it safe. Maybe a retro-fit-style element that plugs into 110DC house current like a tender could be useful. Fleet vehicles and diesel trucks are available with them - why not use them. Oil viscosity range could be modified as well to a suit a more specific operating temp.
